Friends of Harbors, Beaches, and Parks focuses its work on several projects. With the support of conservation organizations and public agencies we have made some great headway over the last ten years.
We focus our work on the following areas:
Green Vision Project
With a coaltion of more than 80 conservation organizations and community groups, FHBP works to find and create funding for parks, open space, and water quality.
Orange Coast River Park
A vision of more than 1,000 acres of connected river and coastal properties along the mouth of the Santa Ana River.
Every year FHBP and other organizations collaborate to staff a booth at the Orange County Fair that provides information on relevant conservation projects.
Southern California Wetlands Recovery Project
A coalition of five counties including public agencies and non-profits have joined forces to protect Southern California's wetlands.
