Red Rock Gardens Suit Won
Our friends at Saddleback Canyons Conservancy just won a lawsuit that Friends of Harbors, Beaches & Parks (FHBP) and others had signed on to. Red Rock Gardens would have allowed a private residence on Santiago Canyon Road to become a commercial event center – hosting wedding and other events 12 times a year with up to 200 guests each. The private residence is situated adjacent to Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park. A lawsuit was filed on the Board of Supervisors’ approval of the project. The court agreed with conservation groups!
