Congratulations to the new tribal leader, Heidi Lucero, of the Juaneño Band of Mission Indians in Orange County for her election into the role of chairwoman of the Juaneño Council. From tribal reserves to federal recognition, she is advancing the interests her Native People. We wish her and the tribe much success!
