This Scientific American article demonstrates 2020 is on target for being one of the hottest years ever recorded on the planet. And, it will do so without an El Niño boosting temperatures, as it did in 2016. Already, just looking at January through July–it is the second warmest year on the books. Our leaders must follow the science of climate change because without it, our world will forever be changed.
