Making Spaces Safer–Without Cars

The concept of closing down streets for more pedestrian use is gaining ground. It happened in Seattle, the Bay Area, and now Cincinnati. With strict rules in place about social distancing can seat only a few people at a time indoors. Maybe using our streets for outdoor dining isn’t a bad idea. It is repurposed street with reduced or eliminated car traffic. Would you feel safer dining outside? What do you think of closing streets for more pedestrian uses?
