Commission Approves Plan

The Coastal Commission approved the plan by OCTA to remove duplicate trails, re-contour some bike berms, add some fencing, and remove non-native plants. All of this is part of the Authority’s Environmental Mitigation Program, which Friends of Harbors, Beaches & Parks (FHBP) helped negotiate in 2005/2006. To date, 1,300 acres have been protected, including this land in Laguna Beach (known as the Pacific Horizon Preserve).
