The California Coastal Commission will revisit the denial of the Newport Banning Ranch project at its February 9th hearing.  Commission staff codified the reasoning behind the denial and is asking the Commission to consider the amended documents.  The Commission voted 9-1 to deny the project last September.  Since then the developer has now sued the Commission for not approving its project.
