with No Comments

In conjunction with National Trails Day organized by the American Hiking Society, the City of Costa Mesa will host an event at Fairview Park June 1st 9-11 AM, focused on the many trail experiences available to park users, trail education and stewardship, as well as get input on trial planning for the future. The goal for the day is to increase participation in trail appreciation, as well as to introduce a new ‘Trail Watch’ program for Fairview Park.

Additionally, in recognition of California Invasive Species Action Week, the Institute for Conservation Restoration and Education (ICRE) will be conducting a non-native plant removal project at Fairview Park. Registration is requested, but not required. All materials such as gloves and gardening tools will be provided.
