FHBP has partnered with and supported the efforts of several groups to protect this stretch of land at the mouth of the Santa Ana River. If all of our lands have human (and canine) intrusion, the species that make this place so special will vanish. Dog parks and other areas that allow this type of “dog beach” have been created, but not this is not the place–in the nesting habitat of two endangered species.
