Governor Newsom just announced a massive shift in the state’s climate and transportation policies. Within his Executive Order N-79-20, it outlines that this “Executive order directs state to require that, by 2035, all new cars and passenger trucks sold in California be zero-emission vehicles.”
California is currently living through the effects of climate change right now. There is so much to do and setting and meeting bold targets are a step in the right direction.
