Wildlife Overpasses Planned

Attention is now being paid to retrofitting existing roadways and freeways now that top predators are facing extinction. The Puente Hills Habitat Preservation Authority is featured in this article about wildlife corridors. There are 4,000 acres protected on the west, and 14,000 acres protected on the east (as Chino Hills State Park), but connections in between these open spaces need to be protected to ensure survival of the wildlife. We are glad to see wildlife passages becoming a reality and finally being prioritized.
