This is a little bit of good news for a Friday afternoon. Courts ruled in favor of conservation groups to uphold protections for the federally endangered California Gnatcatcher. The small bird is found throughout Orange County and has endured years of declining habitat due to development. We must continue to protect our imperiled species.
