Our friends at Banning Ranch Conservancy and The Trust for Public Land are working diligently to preserve and protect the majority of the coastal Banning Ranch property near the mouth of the Santa Ana River. It is the largest remaining undeveloped, unprotected coastal land in Southern California. Thank you to Frank and Joann Randall for their vision for this land and massive contribution towards its preservation–$50M. Friends of Harbors, Beaches & Parks (FHBP) has supported this conservation effort for nearly two decades and we hope the needed $97M is secured to buy it!
